My Approach to Helping
Sometimes the wounds we carry in life keep us stuck in painful patterns of shame and suffering. We lose sight of ourselves and our capacity for joy. I'm here to provide emotional support if you're desiring relief. With empathy and trained understanding, I'll help uncover relevant aspects of your story in order to make sense of the difficulties emerging in your life, your relationships, and your inner world right now.
More Info About My Practice
I'm a licensed mental health clinician with over 10 years of experience providing direct therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups in the Los Angeles area. I received my training across a wide range of clinical settings, including non-profit community organization, school-based counseling, and group practice. Prior to that, I received my M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the School of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary and my B.A. in Art History with a minor in Political Science from Northwestern University.
In addition to being a private practice owner now, I work part-time at Occidental College’s Emmons Wellness Center.
Zora Neale Hurston said, “There is no agony like bearing an untold story inside you.” So, I’m glad you found your way here, and I look forward to hearing your story, encouraging new insights, and offering you tools for positive, sustainable change.
