Professions: Psychologist
License Status: I'm a licensed professional.
Primary Credential: Licensed Psychologist - PSY28875
Billing and Insurance:

I don't currently accept insurance, but I can provide documentation if clients wish to submit to an insurance company for "out of network" benefit coverage

Fees: Free initial phone consultation. Session fee is $185 per 1 hour session. Due to the sudden rise in new clients since the protests, I'm no longer able to offer a sliding scale discount to those financially affected by Covid. But, in response to this mental health crisis - I've decided to launch a virtual group practice which will be available to those living in California, New York, Hawaii, Texas, Florida, Illinois & Louisiana. This company will be similar to Better Help or Talk Space, however, mine will offer licensed psychologists for a small copay, rather than social workers or other master's level therapists for $65 a session. I'm currently creating the company with a team of psychologists from my grad school, internship and fellowship cohorts. The company will be called Therapy Pad, and it will launch in Fall 2020

My Approach to Helping

Ultimately, I’m passionate about supporting you. You are in control of choosing what intrinsic and extrinsic life experiences you'd prefer to have. Together, we’ll explore the aspects of your life that you’d like to keep, what you’d choose to no longer experience, and what you’d gain from implementing positive change. By identifying recurring thought patterns, painful emotions, and unwanted repetitive behaviors, we can incorporate helpful coping tools to guide you away from these unwanted experiences and towards an opportunity to heal, grow and successfully progress in your life.

More Info About My Practice

Therapy is about personal growth and healthy life-style changes. Together, we’ll learn more about the challenges that you’re experiencing and navigate a personalized path forward that will allow you to progress towards achieving your personal goals. I couple evidence-based treatments with a conscious-awareness approach that is geared towards navigating you away from unwanted patterns and towards favorable thoughts and experiences. My goal is to foster an authentic, comfortable, and safe relationship where we can explore opportunities for positive change.

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy

All therapeutic, billing & scheduling services are provided through the Therapy Notes virtual platform. The sessions are around one hour, and depending on your preferencesavailabilitybudget - we can schedule weekly sessions, sessions every two or three weeks, sessions every month, or sessions on an "as needed' basis where you reach out to me when needed.
