What's My Approach to Therapy?
Modern life asks a lot of us. You might look like you have it together—thriving in your career, keeping up with relationships, managing endless responsibilities—yet inside, you feel anxious, burnt out, or disconnected. If you’ve been overthinking, carrying the weight of everyone else’s needs, or wondering why “having it all” still doesn’t feel like enough, you’re not alone.
I offer modern therapy for modern life. That means therapy that meets you where you are today: collaborative, warm, and practical. In our work together, we’ll slow things down so you can untangle what’s really happening beneath the surface. We’ll explore the deeper “why” behind your patterns while also building tools you can use in real time—whether that’s navigating stress, setting boundaries, or finding balance in your relationships.
My approach blends Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic insight, and cognitive-behavioral strategies. Sessions are structured but never rigid—you can expect a space that’s both supportive and gently challenging, where you’ll feel seen and encouraged to grow.
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s helping you feel more grounded, more connected, and more yourself.
My Practice & Services
My practice is designed to feel intentional and supportive from the moment you reach out. I offer both in-person sessions in Los Angeles via concierge services and virtual therapy for individuals and couples across California—so whether you prefer the comfort of your home or the grounding of an in-person space, you have options.
In addition to individual and couples therapy, I’m developing resources to support clients beyond the therapy hour, including digital journals, guided reflection tools, and nervous system regulation practices. These are designed especially for high-achievers, anxious overthinkers, and burnt-out perfectionists who want structured ways to keep their growth going between sessions.
My practice is private, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. I provide a more personalized and intentional experience. If you’re looking for therapy that blends depth with practicality—and a space where you can be both supported and challenged—I’d love to connect.
My Role as a Therapist
My role isn?t to sit back silently or hand you quick fixes?it?s to walk alongside you as you learn more about yourself and your relationships. I see therapy as a collaborative process: you bring your lived experiences, and I bring clinical expertise and a compassionate perspective. Together, we make sense of what?s happening beneath the surface and practice new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating.
Sometimes that means slowing down and exploring the deeper ?why? behind your patterns; other times it means focusing on practical tools you can use right away. I?ll meet you where you are?whether you need a space to process, a gentle challenge, or strategies to move forward.
Ultimately, my role is to help you feel seen, understood, and supported while also encouraging growth. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can drop the performance, reconnect with yourself, and build a life that feels more intentional and sustainable.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
Finding the right therapist is a deeply personal choice?and it?s about more than credentials. You want to feel a sense of safety, trust, and connection with the person you?re sharing your story with. A good therapeutic fit means you feel seen, understood, and comfortable enough to be honest?even when the work feels vulnerable.
It?s also important to find a therapist whose style matches what you?re looking for. Some clients want a warm listener, others want someone who gently challenges them, and many want a balance of both. I aim to offer that middle ground: a space where you can be fully supported and also encouraged to grow.
When choosing a therapist, you might consider their approach, experience, and availability?but also your gut feeling after the first conversation. The relationship itself is often the most healing part of therapy, so it?s worth finding someone you truly connect with.
If you?re curious about whether we?d be a good fit, I?d be glad to connect for a consultation and answer any questions you may have.
