My Approach to Therapy
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or the sense that you should be doing better than you are? You may be successful in some areas of your life yet still feel stuck, disconnected, frustrated, or unsure of what needs to change. Perhaps your relationship has become distant, your confidence has taken a hit, or anger, fear, shame, or self-doubt are getting in the way of the life and relationships you want.
I work with individuals and couples, with a particular focus on helping men navigate the challenges that are often difficult to talk about openly. Men may struggle with relationship and intimacy issues, anger, anxiety, depression, confidence, career pressure, fatherhood, life transitions, or the expectation to always appear strong and have everything figured out. Therapy can provide a place to better understand these patterns without judgment and develop healthier ways of responding to yourself and the people who matter most.
My approach is supportive, practical, and focused on helping you create meaningful change. Together, we work to understand what may be keeping you stuck, strengthen communication and emotional awareness, and close the gap between where you are and where you want to be. The goal is not simply to feel better in the moment, but to build greater confidence, connection, resilience, and a stronger sense of direction.
I provide psychotherapy for individuals and couples in West Los Angeles, specializing in men’s issues, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, couples counseling, communication, trauma and PTSD, life transitions, career concerns, self-esteem, and anger management. I also facilitate a men’s process group focused on connection, accountability, relationships, personal growth, and navigating the unique pressures men face today.
Reaching out for therapy can be a significant first step. I invite you to explore my profile and website to learn more about my approach. If you’re considering therapy or simply have questions about whether we might be a good fit, I welcome you to reach out.
My Book: Grounded Openness
Drawing from more than 20 years of work as a therapist, I wrote Grounded Openness for men navigating dating, relationships, vulnerability, and the often-confusing balance between opening up and maintaining a strong sense of self.
The book explores attachment styles, emotional availability, communication, attraction, boundaries, and the patterns that can cause us to pursue, withdraw, or lose ourselves in relationships. It’s especially for men who want deeper, healthier relationships without feeling like they have to become someone they’re not.
You can open your heart without losing yourself.

How Psychotherapy Can Help
I help individuals go from feeling stuck in some area of their life, to achieving their own definition of success using an innovative method centered on each individual. Life is not easy no matter who you are. We all have our own individual struggles, our own stories, moments of celebration among moments of sadness.
My goal is to support you in obtaining your dreams and aspirations. The focus is tapping into your strengths while bringing out the confidence that resides within you. Your confidence is the key to your livelihood and personal fulfillment.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I developed Complete Game Plan based on the principles I found most effective during my years as a therapist, athlete, educator, coach, mentor, and as a father. I see myself as a guide assisting you in achieving your desired goals. I would love to hear your story.
