My Approach to Helping
I partner with my clients to seek new ways to stay mindful and grounded, no matter what life throws at them. Whether through processing past troublesome or traumatic experiences or exploring current difficult situations, I collaborate with you to find new ways of coping and see what options are available to make the necessary changes to have a different, richer, and more fulfilled experience in life.
My approach draws from a variety of psychological theories including Narrative Therapy, Attachment Focused Therapy and current research in psychology, neuroscience and mindfulness.

I'm certified in treating anxiety (CCATP), a trained Sex Therapist (certification in process), and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Attachment Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR)—powerful tools shown to reduce the negative effects of trauma & emotional pain. My work with couples is founded on the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT), which utilizes cutting edge research in neuroscience, attachment theory and the biology of human arousal.
