My Approach to Helping

My therapeutic work with clients typically involves some area of life in which they feel stuck. I work with people who face challenges with relationships, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief, substance abuse, traumatic experiences, and difficult life transitions. Therapy is an insight-gaining process that can enable you to move beyond obstacles that keep you from having a more fulfilling life. I use an integrative approach to psychotherapy, respecting the individuality of each client and her/his therapeutic goals. I offer a confidential, respectful, and comforting therapy environment. Feel free to call me to discuss your goals for therapy. Together, I believe we can find a way to achieve your goals.

I have worked with trauma survivors for 10 years and am passionate about empowering people who have sometimes felt powerless for a very long period of time. I have a natural ability to develop therapeutic relationships with survivors because I can be present for you while you process your pain.
