My Approach to Helping

You’re not here because things are easy.

Maybe you’ve been carrying something for a long time—grief that never quite moved on, old emotional pain that still catches in your chest, a sense that you’re “too much” or “not enough” depending on the day. Maybe you’ve tried talking it out, rationalizing it, stuffing it down. But your body still remembers. The pain doesn’t move just because you want it to.

I’m Laurel, and I work with people like you, the deep-feelers, the survivors, the ones who’ve been told to just “get over it.” I know what it’s like to feel stuck, misunderstood, or spiritually disconnected. I know how exhausting it can be to always be holding it together on the outside while everything inside feels tangled or numb.

In our work together, I’ll help you reconnect with your body, your breath, and your own truth.
My approach is intuitive, body-based, and grounded in real presence. I integrate somatic healing, breathwork, and movement with trauma-informed care and relational therapy. That means we don’t just talk about your experiences—we honor how they live in your body, how they shape your relationships, and how they can begin to shift, gently and honestly.

We’ll move at your pace. I’ll bring compassion, curiosity, and clarity—not performative perfection. I won’t ask you to go where you’re not ready, but I will help you return to yourself with more safety, expression, and emotional resonance than you may have felt in a long time.

If you’re holding grief, trauma, relational pain, or depression, if you’ve felt failed by talk therapy, if you’re longing for something deeper, something more honest and embodied—this work might be for you. Let’s meet there.
