My Approach to Helping
Tiara Mayfield-Bond is a Licensed Professional Counselor with several years of experience working in an array of environments including substance abuse, post-educational, and with military families, providing mental health and transitional assistance to youth and adults. She is focused on treating depression, anxiety and healing from trauma. Tia holds a Master's degree from Texas Southern University in Counseling Education.She conveys empathy, and her goal is to educate and model best practices in becoming your best self no matter what you’re facing. Mental and physical barriers can bring challenges, yet there is still life to be lived and enjoyed.She’s non-judgmental and understands the importance of communication. "No one plan works for all clients and it’s important to get to know each client as a whole person and find a therapeutic plan that works best.
