What's My Approach to Therapy?
My approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I work with individuals, children, teens, young adults, and families to navigate challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and life transitions. I believe that building a strong and compassionate therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth. Together, we’ll work to create a safe and supportive space where your goals guide our work, and therapeutic techniques are chosen based on what best supports your progress.
My Role as a Therapist
My role as a therapist is to support and empower you through empathy, open communication, and evidence-based care. I strive to meet you where you are and work alongside you to build insight, develop coping skills, and strengthen resilience. When helpful, I incorporate creative approaches, including the use of art, to help clients express emotions, process experiences, and explore thoughts that may be difficult to put into words. I adapt each session to what fits you best, with the goal of helping you feel understood, hopeful, and equipped to make lasting positive changes in your life.
