My Approach to Helping

"If we were meant to stay in one place, we'd have roots instead of feet."

No one is immune to hurts, fears, or disappointments. Sometimes, we get stuck in those negative experiences, finding it difficult to seek and embrace a new direction. Therapy is an opportunity to take a fresh look at the thoughts, emotions, and conflicts that are holding you back from your purpose and potential. Let's partner together to mend those broken places and to renew your mind. It's time to stop judging your life based on distressing experiences and decisions. Empower yourself with tools to build the resilience needed to turn difficulties into lessons. Make today the day that you choose joy. Decide to begin again.

"Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced."--James Baldwin

More Info About My Practice

My therapeutic style is eclectic, meaning that I draw from a number of therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of my clients. Therapy takes time to yield results. We will not resolve all challenges within one or two sessions. I encourage clients to be patient with themselves and the process while also continuing to push towards their goals.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Counseling is a restorative process that can help to decrease stress, improve mood, build confidenceself esteem, and improve social skills. My therapeutic approach is personalized to meet the needs of each client. Treatment plans are comprehensive and goal oriented.
