What's My Approach to Therapy?
My approach to therapy is warm, client-centered, and rooted in evidence-based care. I work with children, teens, young adults, and families to address challenges including anxiety, depression, self-image concerns, trauma, grief, stress, school and social issues, and coping skills. I believe that building a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation for growth and healing. By blending empathy with proven strategies, I tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals, empowering you to overcome obstacles and create meaningful, lasting change.
My Role as a Therapist
My role as a therapist is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I use evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you build insight, strengthen resilience, and develop practical coping skills. I work alongside you to clarify your goals, explore what matters most, and support you as you move toward greater clarity, confidence, and well-being.
