Remember the days when you first met and would stay up all night talking on the phone and just hanging out on the weekends. What about when identified your spouse as your best friend or maybe you would like to become bests friends. To your friends and family, you have the picture-perfect marriage with all the trappings of success?.great jobs, nice house and cars, luxurious vacations, however, you?re still unhappy in your relationship. At some point, you stopped communicating and can?t even be in the same room without arguing. Conversations are like business meeting, about the bills or the kids.

So you?ve drifted apart and now live like two ships passing in the night. What do you do? If you are looking to save your relationship, calling a lawyer will not solve that problem. I encourage you to try relationship counseling before you call it quits. If you are willing to do the work, you will be glad you made that choice.

During our time together, we will review what used to work and determine where things got off track. Once we identify the root of the problems, we will collaboratively create a plan for success based on your collective goals. I cannot make a promise that your relationship will recover but I can promise that if you are willing to put in the work and not give up, you will begin to experience success as defined on your terms.

If you are ready to start this new year with a renewed relationship, click the EMAIL tab or give me a call to schedule your appointment. I am passionate about helping to restore relationships and I would love the opportunity to help you and your significant other do the same.

More Info About My Practice

I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix, my Masters of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Capella University, and I am licensed in professional counseling by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. In addition to professional counseling, I hold a certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution in Texas and I am working towards completing a specialization in Family Mediation.
I received over 3.000 hours of supervised sessions as an intern with extensive experience in working with blended families and helping couples navigate the challenges of re-marriage including developing constructive and effective co-parenting agreements between ex-partners.

I utilize the Prepare-Enrich relationship assessment with a customized feedback report to initiate relevant and revealing discussions about relationships strengths and areas for growth. The program assesses background, values, and your view/perception of your partner. Believe it or not, you did not choose the "wrong" spouse, you chose the spouse who can best help you heal from your past wounds and challenge you to grow into who you were born to be.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

When you consider the "cost" of a break up or divorce, it is probably very well worth it to seek counseling. I will teach you how to communicate effectively and rekindle that old flame but it's up to you to do the work. Relationships take daily work so why throw away all the valuable life minutes you've invested into your relationship and work with a relationship coach to help you get back on track.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Going to therapy demonstrates strength. It means you have the courage to seek support in improving the quality of your life. Many people do not seek therapy due to fear of social stigma, fear of being labeled as "crazy", or do not understand the value of seeking non-judgemental support.

No one is without struggles but seeking counseling support will instill hope and rearrange that "this to shall pass!"

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy

Whether you are attending therapy as an individual or couple, the amount of time spent in therapy is directly proportionate to the amount of work and time you put in to complete your goals. I will help you to assess and identify your desired goal and create a plan to achieve your goal(s).
