As a couple, are you not talking to each other anymore? Are you embattled in the same problem over and over again? Maybe you feel that your relationship has lost its passion and purpose? What about being on different trajectories about when to marry and have children? These are just a few of the common themes that come to me in couples counseling. Rarely have we been taught the skills we need to develop a quality relationship with our partners.

What I do in the therapy room is a privilege and an honor for me. When an individual or a couple first comes into my room, my first goal is to meet them where they are at and to start to build trust and rapport. This is a non-judgmental process. I will work with you in a collaborative manner to help uncover what is not working and teach you the skills you need to improve your life and relationships.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

The main focus of my practice at this time is seeing couples. I am a Gottman Method Couples Therapist who is Level 3 trained. Bringing over 40 years of research into what makes relationships work, the Gottman's have a practical guide on how we can reduce conflict and increase fondness as well as bring more fun into the relationship.

With over 17 years of experience, I also treat a variety of individual issues including depression and anxiety, grief and loss, and trauma in all its forms. If you are experiencing family problems, divorce, empty nest, or codependency issues, I have lots of experience in these as well.
