My Approach to Helping
We're all dealt a deck of cards, and some hands are more challenging than other. My job is to help you play the deck you've been dealt in the best way you can. I create an environment where you can feel safe opening up and exploring your experiences. I help my clients validate their own feelings. Together we'll explore why you feel the way you do, while cultivating different ways of coping.
More Info About My Practice

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I work with groups, families, and individuals across the lifespan, including adolescents, children, and adults. I collaborate as a team with clients, listening actively and nurturing a sense of trust. I help my clients explore how external forces give rise to depression, stress, and anxiety. These forces can include chronic illness, cancer, diabetes, family issues, school, work, abandonment, adoptions, dependency, unhealthy relationships, communication challenges, and control issues.
