My Approach to Helping

Life has a tendency to throw curve balls our way and it is up to us to figure out what to do with them. Sometimes this comes naturally and other times it feels forced. When you are feeling overwhelmed, overworked, tired or completely alone there is little that will have the same impact as proper support. Whether facing depression, anxiety, relationship stress or that unknown feeling that takes over every part of your mind guidance and support are key. By working on the underlying feelings the hope is to find a sense of peace and direction in your life that you can carry with you for forever, no matter your age or life experiences.

My aim is to work collaboratively with you to find not only a direction but a solid way to get to your identified goal. I have specialties specifically in understanding family dynamics, high-risk impulsive behaviors, complex trauma, underlying depression with anxiety and the impact these things can not only have on our lives but on those around us.

Please feel free to contact me, I am happy to provide you with the support and guidance needed to make true long lasting changes in your life.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I have spent a large portion of my career working with high crisis situations from children to young adults. This has been in the school based setting with setting IEP's and attending multiple school meetings to advocate for my clients, assisting in hospitalizations when working in residential treatment for suicidal behavior and substance abuse as well as heading a family program designed to increase healthy communication skills among members to promote long lasting relationships within the home.

I continue to carry all of that knowledge to assist my clients in any way possible in their life changes. To this day I have seen very little override the power behind proper support and the will for a different outcome. It has always been my pleasure to be even a small piece of that journey.
