My Approach to Helping

Growing evidence supports that the mind influences physical health by affecting the way we experience medical symptoms. My goal is to help individuals understand the significance of the mind-body connection to promote overall health and wellbeing. I will offer support by walking alongside you in your personal journey as you learn to adjust and cope with both acute and chronic health-related concerns, depression, anxiety, loss, interpersonal challenges, and trauma.
My specialty is health psychology, assisting individuals who are establishing their "new normal," and developing ways to cope with their physical and emotional stressors. I trained at Erie County Medical Center, in rehabilitation psychology and integrative medicine for 3 years gaining experience with a variety of physical concerns and mental health diagnoses.
Facing a chronic illness or disability often feels overwhelming and isolating, but I am here to help you on your journey as you learn to navigate and adapt to life change, both good and bad. Please call or email for a free initial consultation to see if this is a good fit for your needs.
