My Approach to Helping
Unlike many of my colleagues, I have had the unique experience of building a practice that is multi-cultural, includes clients from various socioeconomic backgrounds and sexual orientation. I believe therapy is a means of helping clients find the most appropriate solution to the unique circumstances of their situation/problems. These include, but are not limited to, depression/anxiety, marital and family conflict, low self-esteem, dealing with medical issues, grief/bereavement, and gay and lesbian issues. In addition to my practice, I have been a volunteer at the Whittingham Cancer Center, Norwalk Hospital working with cancer patients and their families. As a volunteer with the American Red Cross I have been deployed to work with hurricane survivors and most recently worked with families after the Sandy Hook, CT shootings.
