My Approach to Helping
You want to find balance, peace, and joy in your life again. Maybe you're stretched too thin by working 12 hour days and 2 hour commutes. Or, maybe, you feel like you have lost a part of yourself because you are always taking care of family and friends. At the end of the day, you do not have much left to give. Your relationship is on auto-pilot, or worse yet, in crisis. And, you cannot remember the last time you truly felt you were living the life you always imagined for yourself.
You wonder how you got to this place, where you went off course. The ways you typically solve problems in your life just are not working now. The result is that you are feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or lost. I can help.

My therapeutic style is warm and compassionate with a dash of humor thrown in. I am actively involved during sessions and integrate techniques from traditional and contemporary therapies in order to meet your unique therapeutic goals.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, and depression, well as couples struggling with communication, infidelity, parenting, separation, and blended family issues. I work with tweens, teens, and adults. I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. I am also certified in EMDR by EMDRIA.
