My Approach to Helping
Hi, I’m Rebecca Winter. I am a Registered Psychotherapist in the state of Colorado (NCL.0104691). I offer a compassionate therapeutic approach with evidence based methods to help you develop skills for stress reduction and improved quality of life and to help you feel better.
I received a bachelor’s degree in body-based psychotherapy at Prescott College, a certificate in Integrated Deep Tissue Massage Therapy from the Atlanta School of Massage, and master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University.
I specialize in treating anxiety, improving quality of relationships, decreasing stress, processing and integrating life experiences, trauma healing, and making transitions. I use a body-based or somatic techniques to help process experiences and develop more awareness for greater personal mastery. These are very effective for helping one feel empowered, safe, calm, and centered. I also use a transpersonal approach that helps create personal insights and meaning making. The Trauma Resiliency Method is an effective tool I use for processing trauma and building personal strength.
I hold a safe, compassionate space to help you explore, grow, heal, and to feel your best! I provide a place to help you find center and ground to support you in processing what it is alive for you.
