What's My Approach to Therapy?
Experienced with the unique needs of people grieving a loss, experiencing trauma, or having difficulty accepting a recent diagnosis. Some therapeutic techniques used are eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), grief therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and somatic therapy. These techniques are tailored to each specific client based on their goals and suitability. Another service offered to regular and new clients is an evaluation for an emotional support animal.
My Practice & Services
Taking this first step into starting therapy can be the most difficult. I hope to provide an approachable atmosphere without judgment, and discuss any questions you have about the therapy process along the way. Ultimately, I aim to provide a "client-centered approach," meaning that you share the goals you wish to reach, or the direction you want to go, and I will assist you in getting there. I am also happy to offer a free consultation phone call to see if we are a good match. I encourage you to reach out and get the help you desire.
