I will listen to you with an open heart, kindness and acceptance. I am dedicated to helping you let go of limiting beliefs that are keeping you stuck. I want to help you begin to recognize your strengths and believe in yourself. Life throws us curve balls, which feel overwhelming, but can lead to growth and change. Often through life events we develop strategies that may have made sense in the past, but are now interfering with our ability to create strong, lasting relationships. Recognizing that we need to set boundaries helps us to create balance and keep us from accepting less than we deserve or desire. I am dedicated to seeing your strengths and abilities even when you don't. I am dedicated to helping you be kind to yourself, value yourself, and becoming your best self. This is my life's purpose!

More Info About My Practice

As a registered psychologist I have extensive education, and have been working in this field for over 20 years. I have supplemented my education with further training, which has involved extensive self examination and personal growth. The more I learn and grow myself, the more wisdom and understanding of change I can offer you. I have training in Somatic Experiencing and Hakomi therapy which involve mindfulness, and change that is fully embodied and not just intellectual. Connecting the mind, body and spirit leads to lasting changes.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

In fact going to therapy means you are brave and care enough for yourself to improve your life. It means you are wiling to be vulnerable, accept support and risk change. Grieving losses, and past events is painful, but leads to relief, letting go and moving forward in life. It is difficult to admit that we are struggling and to share our histories, fears and emotions with another person! Only the courageous admit that their life strategies are not working and choose to risk change!
