My Approach to Helping
I would describe myself as an empathic, thoughtful, and easy-going individual who is devoted to helping those going through stressful and difficult times. I work from a client-centered approach with the belief that my clients are the experts of their own lives. I believe that each person is their own individual healer and my job as a therapist is to support you through every step of that journey. Everybody’s healing journey will be different and therefore my approaches and techniques will vary from client to client as we all view the world a different way. I emphasize building strong therapeutic relationships. My most important priority is to create a safe and supportive environment for you. With support, also comes challenging you to become the best version of yourself. As your therapist, I take the perspective that you and I are fellow travelers on a journey towards healing and self-actualization.
