My Approach to Helping

My relational approach is based on the belief that within the context of a trusting relationship with a therapist, clients can explore patterns of behavior and emotions which may hearken back to earlier relationships. Once a better understanding of the origins of these patterns is developed, people often find lasting freedom from the hold these patterns once held over their lives. The clients I work with range from the "worried well" to those who struggle with depression, anxiety, OCD and other mental health concerns.

More Info About My Practice

I'm an in-network provider with Preferred One. I also work as an out-of-network provider for other insurance companies. If you have questions about your ability to afford psychotherapy please let me know. Depending on the circumstances I do sometimes offer a sliding fee scale. My fee for service rate is $140.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to gently guide and support my clients as they make their way through the challenges they face. I believe in the saying "doubt is a virtue" and feel honored to be a part of people's lives as they delve more deeply into the questions they've been wrestling with.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

I believe that the relationship between the client and therapist is one of the most crucial aspects of psychotherapy. It's so important you feel comfortable with your therapist. I encourage you to pay close attention to your impressions as you choose the right therapist for you.
