My Approach to Helping
Is your relationship in distress? Is there more conflict than communication? Do you avoid talking about needs? Do you feel lonely, shut out, demanding or clingy? Do you or your partner cope with anxiety, depression, griefloss, addictions, PTSD or childhood trauma? Is sexual intimacy non-existent or routine? Together, we will focus on repairing emotional disconnection, healing resentments, and building a strong bond. We will identify strengths to re-kindle passion and friendship, re-create safety and trust, and practice tools for healthy communication. My understandable and directly applied approaches will guide you to re-discover a satisfying relationship.
I truly believe that without a safe, constructive alliance between therapist and client that emotional healing will not take place. I strive to continually build trust and safety within the therapeutic process so you are free to explore issues blocking you from living your best life.

How Psychotherapy Can Help
Good therapy requires a safe place to discover and explore thoughts, emotions and behaviors that block us from finding our purpose in life for ourselves and others. The process meets you where you are at, helps you learn and understand what is blocking you from healthy options and actions, and gives you an understandable map to begin removing obstacles from thinking, feeling and behaviors.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
Being a psychotherapist gives me the opportunity to be the link between a couple, family, individual or group and their discovering and re-discovering the beauty of life and cultivating hope. I have tremendous respect for the courage it takes a couple or individual to begin the therapeutic process.
