My Approach to Helping
People come to see me for a variety of reasons … to have someone to talk with about life’s challenges, to work through bothersome things that happened in the past, to break the cycle of unhealthy relationships, to garner support through times of transition or when feeling stressed, frustrated, and overwhelmed, and to increase self-esteem and recognize self-worth.
No matter what brings you to therapy, my intention is to provide a safe space for you to express yourself openly and freely. I will listen deeply and intently so that you feel heard and understood, guide you to access deeper levels of self-awareness and self-acceptance, partner with you to unlock emotional freedom from past hurts and traumas, brainstorm with you to find solutions to your problems, and guide you to access the confidence and strength necessary to bring about positive, life-enhancing change.
Drawing from my background as a therapist, life coach, and yoga therapist, I use an eclectic blend of mind-body therapeutic modalities to get you the results you want. The tools and techniques I use are evidence-based, which means they work. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to freedom, fulfillment, health, and happiness.
