My Approach to Helping
I help people make positive life changes. You have suffered and often that suffering occurred in relationship to other people. We will start by digging into these feelings which may surface as inadequacy, insecurity or unworthiness. My passion is uncovering the underlying issue and helping people focus on the solution in a brief therapy model between 5-20 sessions. I help you thoughtfully contemplate your concerns, encouraging you to explore more deeply. Change is facilitated by this process of uncovering. After the process of uncovering, we will explore mindfulness, living in the now, spiritual expression, re-writing your story and changing thought patterns. We will identify your strengths and build on them. You can expect me to reflect in a way that is fresh. The goal is a sense of well-being, balance and wholeness. I believe that good therapy requires collaboration. I work hard for you, and encourage you to actively pursue growth inside and outside of session. I am kind and friendly, and I offer a safe and judgment-free space for our work.
