My Approach to Helping
I am currently accepting new clients and take insurance. If you are looking for help or feel like you need somebody to talk to, I can help. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family issues, or other stressors, you are not alone. I help many people with similar issues and believe that almost everybody, from time to time, can use the help of a psychologist. Most of the people I see in my practice are successful professionals. If this will be your first time participating in therapy, don't worry, you will likely soon feel very comfortable.

Most people have been thinking about therapy for some time before making that initial call. I understand the importance of getting someone on the line when you actually decide to make that call. This is why we make our best efforts to actually answer the phone, answer any questions you might have, and get you scheduled if that?s how you?d like to proceed.
What I Usually Need to Know to Help
At your first appointment, I will assess what has brought you in to therapy. I will determine any symptoms that you might have, and ask about your psychological treatment history. I may help determine a diagnosis (anxiety, depression, etc.) if applicable. I will also assess your goals for therapy, and help develop a treatment plan to achieve those goals.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
The duration of therapy appointments is approximately 50 minutes. Frequency of appointments will be determined with you by the end of your first appointment. Generally, most people attend therapy sessions on a weekly basis at the beginning of therapy, but I will give you a tailored recommendation that may be more or less frequent.
