My Approach to Helping
My style is empathic, interactive, and respectful. Nearly 30 years of training, study, and practice--as well as my own life experience--inform my work. While I have studied multiple therapeutic modalities-- including CBT and ACT (Cognitive Behavioral and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), psychodynamic, mindfulness, somatic, and grief therapies, I do not ascribe to a one-size-fits-all approach to helping. I know you are unique. We will find what works for you.
