I support people to connect with their innate capacities for satisfying relationships and fulfilling lives. Healing and growth occurs optimally in caring and inspiring relationships. I collaborate with each person, couple and family to establish such a relationship, first and foremost. From this secure relational base, symptoms, conflicts and issues can be gently explored with curiosity, compassion and a welcoming awareness. This dynamic inquiry process naturally invites emotional growth, creative solutions, genuine personal relating and life affirming actions.

I draw from over 20 years of my own personal growth work, as well as ongoing interest and trainings in couples work and emotionally focused and integrative approaches to therapy and counseling. I am not on any insurance panels, but can generate a basic invoice for reimbursement from an out of network provider.

The purpose of psychotherapy is to support people to grow, love and live well.

Struggling with my own pain and suffering has softened my heart and carved out the depth inside that allows me to really feel and be with others. Like any effective guide, I believe strongly that I not only need to know the map, I also need to be intimately familiar with the territory.
