My Approach to Helping
There are psychological obstacles that prevent people from experiencing the kind of quality lives they deserve. I have over 20 years of clinical experience in helping people identify and overcome those obstacles.
Many people have histories of working hard over the years to build better lives and manage distressing psychological symptoms, yet remain stuck in frustrating patterns. I believe the problem is not in the effort they have put in to try and improve, but in the missing insights. There are blind spots, biases, and unknown blocks we all have that act as the culprit in preventing desired change. Once a client starts therapy with me, I provide the interventions needed to uncover those hidden areas, and accelerate a process of self-improvement.
By creating a trusting environment, I support exploration and understanding into the unique aspects of the person, and their set of problem areas. Key aspects of my practice involve helping my clients develop the psychological strategies to reduce their symptoms, and improve their lives. Be it anxiety, addiction, depression, obsessive thinking, relationship difficulties, career struggles, poor self-esteem or trauma related issues, I work to address the deeper causes of their unhappiness. This leads to enhanced well-being, and the unlocking of untapped potential.
