My Approach to Helping
My name is Jeuri German, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have a passion for assisting individuals, families, and communities in reaching their fullest potential. I completed my Bachelor's degree at Kutztown University and my Master's degree at Temple University. Throughout my career, I have gained experience working in various settings such as homes, hospitals, schools, and private practice.
One of my strengths is being bilingual, which allows me to effectively support Spanish-speaking individuals. When it comes to therapy, I believe in a person-centered approach that emphasizes collaboration and focuses on utilizing each person's unique strengths and resilience.
I integrate evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches. These approaches can help address challenges like anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and personal growth. Inclusivity and celebrating diversity are fundamental values to me, and I support the LGBTQ+ community. I have been involved in DEI committees, and have participated in a lobbying effort in Harrisburg.
Continuing education is important to me, as it allows me to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field. Outside of work, I cherish quality time spent with my loved ones, including my wife, extended family, and a network of friends across the country. Additionally, I have an adorable Golden Doodle. During my downtime, I enjoy watching football games, particularly the Eagles, and I also like to play the sport myself.
It would be a privilege to support you on your journey toward well-being and personal growth. I am excited about the opportunity to be a part of your growth.
