My Approach to Helping

I want you to know that it’s completely okay to experience a wide range of difficult thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Many people feel trapped, numb, guilty, angry, or scared, and managing those feelings and the corresponding thoughts can be incredibly tough. If you feel unworthy, detached, indecisive, or even stuck in life’s challenges, please understand that you are not alone.

I’m here for you during this journey and am committed to providing the genuine support you need to work toward peace of mind. I believe in offering compassionate and personalized care to support your mental health journey. To best meet your needs, I provide two distinct treatment categories: Supportive Therapy and Specialized Supportive Therapy. Each approach is tailored to help you navigate challenges and achieve a more fulfilling life.

I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to create a warm and supportive environment for my clients. My main modalities include "third-wave" cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and affective neuroscience psychotherapy. These methods help you understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, empowering you to make positive changes in your life.

For those navigating more complex emotional experiences, such as healing from trauma, I utilize experiential therapy, which allows us to explore feelings in a safe and supportive way. I also incorporate Emotion-Focused Therapy and Coherence Therapy to help you process and understand your emotions on a deeper level.

Additionally, I offer canine-assisted therapy, which can provide comfort and companionship throughout our work together. Having a friendly therapy dog in the session often helps create a relaxed atmosphere, making it easier to open up and engage in the healing process.

Together, we’ll find the best approach to support you on your journey toward emotional well-being, growth, and peace of mind.
