My Approach to Helping
I believe that a strong alliance with a therapist contributes to growth and change. And, it is a great privilege to support adults and young adults, including college and graduate students, who are willing to take a risk to become curious about themselves. I provide therapy for mental heath concerns related related to anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, emptiness, anger, identity-related questions, and life transitions. These emotional challenges are often explored in connection to relational difficulties, including breakups, conflict, divorce, affairs, intimacy or commitment concerns, and loneliness.
We can work together to help you understand yourself better and to gain insight into your current life difficulties. These important conversations can assist you to think about and experience yourself in new ways within the context of your relationships and expand your skills to respond to stressful life situations and uncertainty.
