My Approach to Therapy

I am passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate through difficult issues. I have been working with individuals and couples for the past 35 years. Some of the areas I focus on include: anxiety, depression, addiction, porn addiction, infidelity, communication issues, infertility issues, loss - death or miscarriage, and interpersonal issues. I approach each client with compassion and good listening skills. Through various therapeutic techniques, I help clients minimize their weaknesses while maximizing their strengths. Together we untangle the behaviors, thoughts, actions, and emotions that keep you stuck in an unhealthy loop. These are but some of the problems I help clients work through in sessions. If I cannot help you then one of the other very competent therapists in the practice at, Greater Chicago Counseling Center, can help as well. The practice accepts Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans. If you wish to speak to one of our wonderful therapists please reach out. Don't struggle alone reach out now.

Groups I Work With

Our practice focuses on individuals, couples, and families. Our general practice view is to treat the needs that the individual or couple presents to their therapist. We listen to our patients and respond with empathy. Therapists' skills range from treating trauma, depression, anxiety, addictions (chemical or sexual), infidelity, communication issues, infidelity, perfectionism, relationship issues, life satisfaction and balance, and/or parenting issues. There aren't any problems that many of us haven't treated. We encourage individuals to reach out if they are struggling in any way rather than struggling in isolation.
