My Approach to Helping
I specialize in supporting individuals through various stressful situations and challenges. Together, we can uncover the root cause of the issue and work on strategies to ease symptoms I offer each of my clients a safe space to explore their feelings and examine their lives. Our work will always be centered around your needs and priorities.
The modalities I use include dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), culturally sensitive cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and solution-focused principles. I also use relational, attachment, and existential theories. However, the most powerful tool we will use in working together will be the safe space we create.
As a former higher education professional, I have a wealth of experience working with young adults, and the unique challenges that they face.
