What's My Approach to Therapy?
You may feel stuck navigating anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, or the pressure to always hold it together. I work with folks exploring who they are beneath the roles and expectations placed on them. Many of my clients are LGBTQ+ (teens and adults), neurodivergent, living with chronic illness, or healing from emotionally immature families. Together, we’ll create a warm, collaborative space where you can explore emotions, relationships, and identity.
My Practice & Services
I use a person centered and trauma informed approach, creating a safe and nonjudgemental place where we can explore difficult topics on your own terms. I also utilize DBT in my sessions, offering tangible skills to help improve emotional regulation, interpersonal communication, distress tolerance, and mindfulness.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I support late-diagnosed or self-identifying neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD and autism, who have spent much of their lives masking to fit in. Together, we work to unlearn internalized shame, reconnect with your authentic self, and build a life that honors your true neurotype.
I also work with parents of LGBTQ+ children and teens, including those who are transgender, nonbinary, or questioning their gender or sexual orientation. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to process your emotions, navigate the coming-out journey, and deepen your understanding of LGBTQ+ identities. Together, we'll work toward affirming parenting practices and more connected family relationships.
Although many of my clients are neurodiverse or LGBTQ+, I also help those redefining happiness outside of our "default" norms of things like marriage, wealth, or career.
