My Approach to Helping
For over 29 years I've been privileged doing the work I love: being a therapist to couples and individuals with the courage and determination to make formidable personal changes. I use sensible theories and effective skills to be the right therapist for YOU too. The one you experience as attuned, respectful, responsive to your needs - and knowledgeable in how to attend to them. Together we'll work toward YOUR personal goals. As we progress and you experience relief from your initial difficult emotions and life situations, you'll experience a transformative resilience to your life; new ways of dealing with others; and new ways of operating in the world.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I have a lot of experience and success in working with individuals and couples who have experienced relational trauma in their past and continue to become activated in the here-and-now. By assuming a non-pathologizing position to suffering and privileging compassion instead, my patients' attachment injuries can heal.
