I collaboratively work with clients to help them achieve their individual goals by employing a combination of therapeutic techniques. I compassionately and empathetically assist clients in learning how their unique thinking, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected so that they can identify their self-defeating thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors and work toward positive and healthy change. I treat clients with dignity as individuals and do not define them based on their diagnosis. I provide a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment so that clients can express their emotional pain without judgement, as I respect and validate client's feelings and their own unique inner world. I am a certified cognitive behavioral therapist from the Beck Institute in Philadelphia and my theoretical orientations are cognitive behavioral and family systems therapy.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

The best part of my job is when I can see clients make a positive cognitive and emotional shift in their life. When I work together with clients to assist them with achieving their goals of thinking or behaving differently, it reminds me of the reason why I wanted to become a psychologist. I specialize with children, adolescents and women and I find joy in helping them to not only reach their goals, but to become a better version of themselves. I am passionate about assisting clients reach their own therapeutic goals and inner balance.
