My Approach to Helping

If you are looking for a Christ-Focused environment and counselor, look no further. It is my joy to help you find the healing that God desires for you. Perhaps you have a history that involves wounding and you have not be able to overcome the pain inside. You may struggle with beliefs and feelings about yourself, where you are in life and where God is in all of it.

I will help you identify beliefs that may not be true that perpetuate your pain. You will learn skills to manage fear and anxiety or feelings of depression. You will learn to connect more authentically and intimately with yourself and with God and because of that, healing will come. You will find more freedom and because of that will experience richer more authentic and connected relationships and be more peacefully productive in your life as a whole.

More Info About My Practice

We will travel this part of your path together. If you have had therapy before, you may be familiar with some of what happens in session. If you have not had therapy before, there is nothing of which to be afraid. Although you may encounter strong emotions at times, it is necessary to allow things to come to the surface in order to learn from and heal from them. I will lend you my strength and experience and, most of all hope for the journey.

With Hope and Faith it is possible to move mountains. I know that is what it feels like, looking at your feelings and memories that hold you back. But, if you muster up a little faith, and take the first step, you can receive the healing that has already been won for you. Come on! Let's follow this path together. I'll show you the way.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Making the decision to get some therapy absolutely does not mean you are weak or 'crazy.' In fact, it means the opposite. It means that you have realized that what you are feeling or doing isn't working for you. You have decided to make a change that could have a profoundly healthy impact on your life. Even if there are some people in your life who do not agree with your decision to seek help. You, in fact, are healthier than them! It is the healthier person who figures out that what isn't working, needs to be changed. It is the healthier person who looks forward in hope to a time when they might feel and operate in better, healthier ways. How does that sound to you? All you have to do is pick up the phone or send an email to start your healing journey.
