My Approach to Helping
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you suffer from depression and anxiety. My goal as a therapist is to make you feel at ease while encouraging you to explore the reasons your issues came about and to work together to fix them. My approach to therapy is integrative as each one of us is so unique and require different methods to grow into the person we dream to be. Much of my work focuses on assisting others navigate challenging life changes and circumstances. During these times it\'s essential to take care of ourselves and therapy can be the ultimate form of self care for our mind, body, and soul.
Making changes in ourselves can be difficult as many of us have a habit of thinking negatively. This impacts how we see ourselves, others, and the world. It can lead to feeling as if things will not go right and not taking chances to prove ourselves wrong. This leaves us at a disadvantage as we might not try new things that can result in more positive experiences in our lives.
