My Approach to Helping
Alcohol and Drug Addiction Treatment can save your or a loved one’s life. For over 15 years, I have enjoyed working with individuals and families to elicit positive change in their lives. As the Outpatient Services Program Manager at Mountainside treatment center in Chappaqua, I implement Acceptance Commitment Therapy, as well as somatic and experiential therapies to help my clients engage more fully in what gives them a sense of meaning and purposefulness in their lives. I also like to incorporate mindfulness and breathwork through my experience as a yoga teacher.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor with a Master of Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work. I also serve as a Co-Chair of the National Association of Social Workers-Connecticut Addictions Committee. My specialties include treating trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and PTSD.
I bring passion to my clinical work with holistic approaches, evidence-informed best practices, & a commitment to social justice. We will work together to create an environment that is comfortable and develop an individualized treatment plan that prioritizes your goals and personal development in order to help you where you are in your journey.
