My Approach to Helping

Alcohol and Drug Addiction Treatment can save your or a loved one’s life. For over 15 years, I have enjoyed working with individuals and families to elicit positive change in their lives. As the Outpatient Services Program Manager at Mountainside treatment center in Chappaqua, I implement Acceptance Commitment Therapy, as well as somatic and experiential therapies to help my clients engage more fully in what gives them a sense of meaning and purposefulness in their lives. I also like to incorporate mindfulness and breathwork through my experience as a yoga teacher.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor with a Master of Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work. I also serve as a Co-Chair of the National Association of Social Workers-Connecticut Addictions Committee. My specialties include treating trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and PTSD.

I bring passion to my clinical work with holistic approaches, evidence-informed best practices, & a commitment to social justice. We will work together to create an environment that is comfortable and develop an individualized treatment plan that prioritizes your goals and personal development in order to help you where you are in your journey.

Detox
For individuals dependent on drugs or alcohol, the journey of recovery often starts with detox. This critical process of removing toxic substances from the body serves as the catalyst for a healthier life free from addiction.

Residential
Our intensive 30-day inpatient residential treatment program serves as the catalyst for you to completely transform your life and gain the tools needed to maintain sobriety after completing treatment. Removed from the stress, triggers, and temptations of everyday life, our serene campus at the foot of the Berkshire mountains serves as the perfect backdrop for you to fully engage in your recovery – mind, body, and spirit. Through expert and personalized treatment plans, our residential program will help you draw on your strengths to overcome your addiction.

Extended Care
To fortify your newfound sobriety, you may need time and space away from triggers and negative influences to strengthen your recovery. Extended Care, our structured sober living program, consists of three phases to help you develop the fundamental skills and abilities you need to successfully live on your own as a person in recovery. As you transition from one phase to the next, you will gain greater independence and be better prepared for independent living.

Recovery Coaching
In the first 365 days of your recovery journey, Recovery Coaching provides you a partner, mentor, spiritual guide, and support system to help you adjust to a new sober lifestyle. Through constant communication, you form a strong partnership with your Recovery Coach to work through any challenges as you make strides toward your life goals.

Adolescent Services
Our innovative Adolescent Services program – open to high school aged teens who are struggling with alcohol or drug abuse – provides teens with the counseling and guidance they need to get better and stay sober.
