My Approach to Helping
Healing and personal growth is a process, and it is my goal to come alongside of you and walk with you on your journey. My focus is on establishing a foundation of trust and rapport to make sure my clients feel seen and heard. As your counselor, my role is to provide you with a safe space that is non-judgmental, collaborative, gives direction, and fosters growth. Therapy is not a \"one size fits all.\" Therefore, I strive to create a treatment plan based on the needs and goals of my clients. Each individual\'s situation is unique and should be approached differently. Some of the approaches I utilize include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Family Systems, Trauma-Focused, and Integrative. I modify my style to each client\'s needs. My goal is to equip you with the skills and tools to live out your most authentic self.
About Me: When I am not working as a therapist, you can find me trying new food and taking pictures of my food. During the spring and fall, I love spending my weekends on a patio with my husband eating Tex-Mex. I am a self-proclaiming foodie blogger. I am extremely active and enjoy running on trails or walking my dog. It is essential for me to incorporate balance and self-care into my daily life. I love spending my time encouraging people and creating a space that allows for authenticity.
