I use my personal experience as a therapist in long-term recovery and working in award winning treatment facilities for co-occurring disorders to provide an integrated approach to therapy utilizing therapies such as DBT, Gestalt, IFS, and solution focus therapy. Therapy is an individualized process and many times there's no cookie cutter approach to a problem. Being heard and understood is essential to understanding what an individual wants. I focus on what the client wants and as a team we tackle those problems.
Finding the right therapist can be a difficult process. I believe that if one feels accepted and understood, we can increase our self-worth and improve the relationships in our lives. It is a difficult and at times overwhelming process, but it is not a journey you need to take on your own.
