My Approach to Helping
Pain in life is inevitable, but how do you want to relate to your pain? When would you permit yourself to validate it? What type of pain are you experiencing? The one leading to growth or the one leading to stagnation? My role as your therapist is to be your companion in areas of disconnection to understand, process, and digest your suffering so that you can eventually transcend it and, in this way, live a more authentic life.
My Role as a Therapist
My therapy approach stems from the belief that everyone has the inherent wisdom and personal power to make choices more conducive to meaning in life. As humans, we are not always fully aware of all our possibilities and how these might come forth. That is why increasing our clarity, understanding, and acceptance of our choices and consequences tends to help us feel more at peace. As a therapist, my role is to guide you to bring awareness into the unconscious and conscious roadblocks that may be preventing you from embracing your power and living a deeper and more fulfilling life. In essence, therapy is about unraveling the best version of yourself, one choice at a time -- by untangling from aspects that are no longer working for you and unfolding your most authentic self.
