My Approach to Helping
I strive to give all of my clients the best possible care that I can and focus on my clients’ strengths and skills to provide an approach that is unique to each individual. My goal is to provide a safe, empathetic, and healthy environment for my clients to develop the skills that they need in order to face the various challenges and difficulties in their lives. I believe that clients benefit from having a non-judgmental, empathetic, and genuine relationship with a counselor. I take pride in being someone who is very easy to talk to, is supportive, is an open listener, and who can see things from others’ points of view. Therapy is a journey, and as in all journeys, there are highs and lows, times of progress, and times of challenge. I walk with my clients on their journeys through it all and meet them where they are at and help to overcome the challenges that are being faced. It can be scary to ask for help, and in doing so, you have taken the first steps along your journey, and I would be happy to accompany you.
About Me: Outside of work, I enjoy playing video games, reading, listening to music, spending time with family and my pets, hiking, and traveling. I love to explore new places and things and am always looking forward to a new adventure in life. I am a very optimistic person and see the best in everyone.
