My Approach to Helping

Bradley Gee is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides a safe space for all genders. Therapy is a journey; there are highs and lows, times of progress, and times of challenge. He walks with his clients to meet where they are at and help to overcome the challenges they face. It can be scary to ask for help, and in doing so, you have taken the first steps along your journey, and he would be happy to accompany you.

In therapy, Bradley offers services for adolescents, young adults, and adults. He specializes in anxiety disorders, behavioral issues, family conflict, and stress. He is especially skilled at:

Mood Disorders: Anxiety, Depression, and Bipolar disorder are a few of the different mood disorders that can impact your every day life. You may feel helpless, but through therapy, Bradley can help find the ideal method to regain control.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD): If you are living your life via compulsions and obsessive thoughts, Bradley has experience in finding ideal coping mechanisms. You may be diagnosed with germaphobia or, even, trichotillomania. He understands your symptoms and wants to help you heal.

Substance Abuse Recovery: If you have been through a recovery program via rehabilitation center or on your own, Bradley provides recovery support. He has experience with different support groups and with the families of the afflicted. He can help find and live out your new normal.

Bradley uses different approaches for each person. He believes in an individual based healing process no matter the diagnosis, whether common or not. He uses person-centered techniques such as Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and Talk therapy when needed.

Bradley earned his undergraduate in Psychology at Northern Illinois University and his M.S. from National Louis University. In his free time, he enjoys being out in nature, spending time with his family, playing video games, and rooting for his favorite hockey team, the Chicago Blackhawks.
