My Approach to Helping
Finding the right therapist is an important decision and I welcome the opportunity to meet with you to determine if I am the right therapist for you. Experiencing emotional challenges is part of living a full life.
Therapists are trained to help walk you through and face the unique trials that life can unexpectedly bring us. I will provide support, guidance and constructive feedback. I'll be there to walk you through hardships but to also celebrate your victories.
It's important to me that I not only help normalize and validate your feelings but also help you understand the science behind them.
Just as you would seek physical therapy after a physical injury, it’s just as important to seek psychotherapy to help heal old or new emotional wounds.
