My Approach to Helping
I believe that therapy can be a bridge from surviving to thriving. We are living in such stressful times; leaving many people feeling overwhelmed and stuck. If you are feeling stuck, I can teach you new strategies to cope with stress, worry and overwhelm. Break free from old habits and behaviors that no longer serve you. Find your inner spark again so that you can fully create positive change in your life. I strive to offer a safe and supportive space where you can clarify your goals for change, increase your self-awareness and confidence, so that you can start making choices to fully support your next step along your journey.
I am a holistic provider who blends Eastern and Western philosophies and strategies into my practice. I look at the whole person; mind, body, and spirit. In addition to traditional "talk therapy" and supportive referrals, I also provide Reiki. Reiki is a gentle form of energy healing that can assist you in reaching a deeper level of relaxation, stress management, release emotional pain, reduce physical pain, boost your immune system and promote your body's own healing. While some of my clients prefer "talk therapy" only appointments, I can incorporate Reiki treatments into counseling session appointments or schedule them as separate appointments for those interested in receiving complimentary services.
