My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned my master’s degree more than twenty years ago with a concentration in Mental Health. My strongest clinical experiences have been within integrative practices that have championed growth and empowerment.
My clinical style is holistic and person-centered and follows a strength-based perspective tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. I employ combined approaches that include Rogerian, Behavioral, and Solution Focused techniques to name a few. My focus areas include the exploration of issues surrounding relationship dynamics, self-esteem, and confidence. I also embrace work with end-of-life processes including grief and loss, anxiety, and stress, and work with those impacted by chronic illness and pain. Philosophically, I support faith-based worldviews of healing and recovery for those who may be seeking a spiritual approach in counseling.
My hope is to journey with you on your discovery toward a place of greater peace and well-being.
Let’s reach your goals!
