My Approach to Helping
I have built my experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strength-based practice, solution-based approach, and other modalities by working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have provided therapy services to a diverse population with an array of issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, acculturation, personal growth, self-esteem, relationship conflict, stress management, career and work issues, and other individual concerns.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I focused on assisting all of my clients in working through and overcoming their difficulties in order to achieve desirable, healthy, and long-term changes. My goal is to address the needs of my clients and help them discover their best selves. I strive to help my clients build healthier and happier lives by utilizing tools and techniques from a variety of therapeutic modalities to ensure I acknowledge each of their unique experiences and needs. Through our work together, you will gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that concern you.
In addition, as the sessions are tailored to address your needs and concerns, you will notice an extra level of compassion and empathy that allows you to feel comfortable, connected, and at ease. As sessions progress, you will have an improved ability to make decisions to address your concerns in your personal, social, and career functioning.
