My Approach to Helping
As someone who has gone through grief due to a loss of a family member, leading to feeling depressed and loss and not knowing what to do, I can relate to some of the symptoms presented by my patients.
Agnes is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Her educational specialty and clinical training in psychiatric mental health gives her the ability to diagnose, prescribes, treat, manage, and evaluate patients across the life span suffering from mental illness such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, OCD, PTSD, autism, ADHD, gender dysphoria, neurocognitive, and neurodevelopmental disorders with empathy and passion. Agnes graduated with her post-master degree from Walden University in 2021. She obtained her Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in leadership and management from the University of Walden in 2017. She has over 20 years of registered nursing experience in a variety of settings including an Acute Psychiatric Hospital, dealing with patients with acute psychiatric issues. Agnes evaluates chronic health and mental health conditions to determine optimal patient plans of care. Agnes knows the importance of having a strong ability in collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to improve clinical practice in mental health settings while maintaining professional boundaries and therapeutic relationships with patients. She provides a unique approach to addressing underlying psychological issues, coping skills, and life stresses.
